TERRI RESIGNES to assume Visiting Math Instructor at Lander University in Ninety-Six South Carolina.  The beautiful fountain gateway to the University is located on Hwy
25/Montague Ave in Greenwood, SC.

Her last Sunday at RUMC was July 30, 2017 with a luncheon in her honor along with her mother, Nora Lee Owens, who will be moving with her.  Approximately 50 people attended the luncheon graced with a money tree and a multitude of 'good wishes' of cards from church members.  She will be missed by all as a cheerful leader ministering to the needs of others.

Terri Honeycutt has been active in Rockwood United Methodist for several
years -- first as a Youth Director and then Choir Director.   While her secular
employment is with the Roane County School system as Math Coodinator, she greatly enjoys and anticipates using her musical talents at RUMC.
Terri appreciates the standard hymns of the traditional faith as well as the contemporary settings that have real meaning and address the needs of the Christian life.  Biblical teachings set forth in music underscore the truths highlighted by the teachings of Jesus.  Her real concern is that the music enables both choir and congregation to have a true worship experience every Sunday.
Choir members do not have to be trained musicians, but ordinary folk who are willing to be used as singing worship leaders.  Her prayer remains that God will touch hearts of those who would serve in this capacity of praise.

Terri resigned to accept the position as visiting Mat
